St. Stephen's Guild — first meetings in Front Royal and Nokesville

For the faithful of Our Lady of Victory Chapel: the group that works for the spiritual, moral, and liturgical formation of boys who have received their First Holy Communion and have not yet graduated from high school is the St. Stephen's Guild. This Saturday, September 26, Fr. Audino will lead the first Front Royal meeting of the St. Stephen's Guild after the 9:00 am Mass at Chelsea Academy. This will be an introductory meeting and will initiate the regular monthly meetings which will take place for the Front Royal Chapel on the 4th Saturday of the month each month unless otherwise noted. This will be the schedule for this introductory meeting at Chelsea Academy:
9:00 am Low Mass
9:50 am Introductory Prayer and Explanation of the Guild
10:00 am–11:00 am Server Training led by Fr. Audino
11:00–11:15 am Bathroom Break & private prayer in chapel
11:15–11:35 am Spiritual Talk by Fr. Audino
11:45 am Dismissal
(In our regular monthly meetings, we are planning to have a simple lunch provided for the boys by volunteer families and served by dads followed by sports with Fr. Audino - the food and dad volunteers will need to be scheduled)
The St. Stephen's Guild is one of the most important groups in Our Lady of Victory Chaplaincy and we are looking forward to the work that needs to be done to prepare well for the sacred liturgy as well as to form Christlike men for the next generation of spiritual and earthly fathers.

Nokesville — Saturday, October 3

A note from Fr. Audino:
For the faithful of Our Lady of Victory Chapel, the group that works for the spiritual, moral, and liturgical formation of boys who have received their First Holy Communion and have not yet graduated from high school is the St. Stephen's Guild. Next Saturday, October 3rd, Fr. Audino will lead the first full length Nokesville meeting of the St. Stephen's Acolyte Guild after the 9am Mass at the Our Lady of Victory Oratory.
This will be the first standard mandatory monthly meeting which will take place for the Oratory community on the 1st Saturday of the month each month unless otherwise noted. If your son cannot attend the meeting a particular month but is registered for the guild, please send an email to Fr. Audino via the Guild email [email protected] to explain his absence. This is important for taking roll and for being clear about which boys the chaplain and assisting dads are responsible for in a given meeting.
This will be the typical schedule for these monthly meetings:
9am Mass
10am Introductory Prayers and roll call
10:15am–11:15am Server Training led by Fr. Audino
11:15am–11:30am Bathroom Break & change into sports clothes
11:30am–11:40am Spiritual Talk by Fr. Audino
11:40am–12pm Simple Lunch provided by rotating volunteer families
12pm–1pm Sports with Fr. Audino
(In our regular monthly meetings, we are planning to have a simple efficient lunch provided for the boys by volunteer families and served by dads followed by sports with Fr. Audino - the food and dad volunteers will need to be coordinated and scheduled by the Nokesville coordinator for the St. Stephen’s Guild - a guild email will be sent out soon that can be contacted by families that want to donate for the lunch each month - even families that do not have boys in the guild can donate for the lunch and one of the dads helping out can go pick it up or serve it if it is brought. We will do our best with the food, but if your boy has special dietary restrictions, please plan on packing him a lunch so that there isn’t an undue burden on the family generously providing the lunch that month)
